cyclops returns!

ah, finally got the chance to update. been super busy and most of the time lazy so never bothered to update. CNY was quite fun this year although the dinner was the same old steamboat but with the hongbao incentive at the end of it, there's no reason why not to enjoy the dinner. haha.

we stayed back that night after the dinner and my bro took that opportunity to try to psycho my dad into upgrading the scv system to the digital one that only costs 4 bucks. haha, you should have seen the whole thing unfold. priceless. visitation was simple with just one house to visit. guess that's the only perk with my grandma staying in the same house...the only perk...

finally and oh so finally! played my first game since being back today and oh how sweet it was! 5-3 victory against skools innebandy. we deserved it after fighting so hard for it. and nice to be back with a really sweet goal. relieved to see it go in through the specs. haha, hopefully more to come. *time to claim the insurance from school......

my parents saw what a SLR can do and i hoping they'll suprise me with it for my birthday. haha-i wish.

nothing beats that HONG PAO feeling

this week passed like a race car speeding right past you so fast that you're practically fucked off your feet. 5 make up tests, 3 project submissions and 2 project interviews. ok, i guess that's enough of a blabber to make you feel much better about your own situation in school.

the babe's insanely cute but naughty dog. don't ask about the name. you REALLY don't wanna know. she's a few months old and STILL teething and we can't wait till she's done teething. her favourite delicacy: my fingers. for the simple fact that no one else allows her to bite theirs. haha lol.

celebrated my mom's birthday at some place dunno what the heck the name for some seafood and everything else that usually goes when humans eat. but this place was special. they sell crabs but don't have the man tou to go along with it. fark....was complaining at the person's face. haha lol, should have seen the nervousness in her eyes. classic shit.

valentine's day is overrated and a total hoax to make people spend money and i still stand by it. so we decided to take it slow and ease it this year and hung out at places where i had to try to save myself from embarrasment thanks to the babe. and haleujiah to the teachers who cancel their classes on the last week of school. that left the whole of thursday free for us. and we didn't know that marche closed at suntec so we were deprived of it for an extra one day.

the hours are looming till the first red packet. *rubs hands together and licks lips* sharks fin soup tonight with lots of food accompanied with yet another cute but naughty one - this time my cuz. pics and updates will be posted soon. now's the time reserved for me to recoup what i've lost the last week and so dearly missed - sleep. oh how i miss the three weeks of staying home and sleeping till kingdom come.

back to school

ok, so i've finally been allowed to go back to school. got MC covering me till friday but i decided to go back to try to catch up on what i've missed. it's good to finally get back on track but it comes at a price: make-up tests and lots to study to prepare for the exams.

now playing the third season of my cheater FM team. created my own wonderkids and super team. Singapore now ranks 27th in the world. unbelievable. oh, not forgetting to mention, i edited liverpool's, chelsea's and arsenal's stats, players and they're all bankrupt, stuck in the third tier of english football and on the road to hell. to make things worse, their players got their stats edited as well. haha :p

well, liverpool got 9 points deducted off them and so did arsenal at a later stage because they went into administration. chelsea remained rich but they still got relegated in the end because no one wanted to go to their club because their reputations's 1. haha, brilliant eh?

watched the guys get whacked by NUS on sunday and it wasn't pretty. they shot themselves in the foot yet again by giving up halfway and pushing the blame. well anyway they have to learn. hopefully soon. went down for training on tues and how i wish i could play...if i was fit... had a nice time laughing at their blunders from the side and watched ahmad donate his second kiss.

mom was digging up some old photos for i dunno what the hell for and she showed me some old stuff that's really hilarious! didn't know i looked so goofy last time and FAT! dang! wonder what happened to me. was laughing till i got stitches and it got better when i found some old camp pics. haha, won't show them to protect myself. go figure. evan, shirlene, vivian, gideon, ruth, dennis, daniel, sam, you all are NOT safe. muahahaha! ;p

did you know there's a lake in singapore?

ok, so i've been stuck at home for the last 5 days and been really productive. watching tv so much that i've memorized every button on the remote, playing FM till i'm bored out of my wits, sleeping so much the bed has sunk in and eating so much i think i've gained weight.

watched singapore beat malaysia on penalties - something that wasn't easy to swallow. the penalty shoot out was a real heartstopping moment sia. the new-look singapore side reminds me of the TP fb team, get the points but doing it the hard way. last night saw the revival of the lack of discipline in the thai side just like what happened a few years back in the tiger cup. vietnam, indonesia and now thailand. walking off the pitch and threatening to leave the game? tsk tsk. like what the commentators said, "they're behaving like children playing in a park. you don't give me the ball, i won't play." that summed up the thai team. all that i hope now is that the singapore side will be able to cope with the hostility the thai supportors will throw at them during the second leg.

haha, the babe said that "as if our political relations hasn't strained enough." to tell the truth, i never had any idea that there were political problems. i've been living under a rock in the political world sia. lol. :p

got a really wierd call from max the other day, this is how it went.

max: hey doug, do you have farid's number?
me: huh? you don't have farid's number?
*max sort of chuckles*
max: i dropped my fone into a lake.
me: what the fark? you what?
*max sort of chuckles again and breaks into a laugh*
max: i dropped my fone into a lake and i just dialled a number and it was yours.
me: knn, how the hell...ok, i send you his number.
max: haha, ok thanks bye.

i didn't know there's a lake in singapore. cock.
